Khaolak Nature & Culture Tour with Lunch
Overview
A day trip that offers you to visit breathtaking places of nature. Learn and understand Thai culture and local life. You will have a chance to see some wildlife like reptiles, monkeys, hornbills, etc. when on a canoe in Little Amazon. After canoeing, we will visit a waterfall at the National park. Enjoy your lunch at the restaurant at Sri Phang Nga National Park before having a local life experience by visiting "Wat Khongkha Pimuk", a Thai Buddhist temple and we will also go to a Chinese Buddhist temple. Chat with local people at Takuapa Old town and do sightseeing around. Then proceed to visit Ban Nam Kem Tsunami Memorial Park to learn about the Tsunami evacuation procedure.
Itinerary
- Stop 1: Pick up at the hotel and drive 30 minutes to the first stop at Takuapa Morning market (30 minutes)
- Stop 2: Enjoy canoeing by professional rower at "Little Amazon", get a chance to see some wildlife e.g.monkeys, reptiles, hornbill bird , etc. (1 hour)
- Stop 3: About 30 minutes drive from Takuapa to "Sri Phang Nga National Park" Short trekking in Sri Phang Nga National Park to visit Tum Nung Waterfall. Enjoy and relax at the waterfall (1 hour)
- Stop 4: After walking back from the waterfall, have lunch at the restaurant (1 hour)
- Stop 5: After lunch takes 30 minutes drive to Takuapa, visit Wat Khongkha Pimuk a Thai Buddhist temple, visit a Chinese Buddhist temple and also Takuapa Old town (2 hours)
- Stop 6: Visit Tsunami Memorial Park at Baan Nam Kem Tsunami Memorial park before return to hotel (1 hour)
